Fried pork chop with sweet potato, apple and ginger


Portions for 1 serving:

1 pork chop

1/2 small sweet potato

1 red apple

Raisins "Seedless Thomson"

8 pieces of sushi ginger


Four-spices (or all-spices???)

Cinnamon

Ginger

4 tsp brown sugar



Cut the sweet potato in 1/4" sections and place them in a small steamer. Add the pieces of sushi ginger and the apple cut in dices. Powder with the cinnamon, the ginger and the sugar. At last, add the raisins and steam for 30mn.

It is also possible to user a closed oven dish. In this case, pour add the raisins before the apple and pour orange juice over the apples before adding the spices and the sugar. Cook 50mn at 390°F (200°C). Beware that cooking times may vary depending on dish material. 50mn is given for a glass dish.

Fry the pork chop in a pan during 15mn to 20mn on medium heat depending on its thickness.
